Zbierka poviedok zo sveta Warhammeru 40k. Z obdobia The Horus Heresy. Séria Primarchs je spravidla o poznanie slabšia ako základná The Horus Heresy alebo The Siege of Terra. A ani táto knižka sa tomuto pravidlu nevymyká. Poviedky sú vcelku zaujímavé, žiadneho fanúšika určite neurazia :-) Ale vo svete The Horus Heresy sa dajú nájsť aj lepšie...
Je toto hodnocení přínosné? ANOKnížka soustředící se na motivace určitých postav z Horus heresy, Blood of the Emperor rozhodně není špatnou sbírkou povídek, jen jí něco chybí k dokonalosti. Jako vždy kvalita povídky závisí na autorovi a zde máme pár hvězd (Brooks a Wraith) a pár kulhajících (Kyme). Největším problémem téhle sbírky je, že nedávno vydaná sbírka Heirs of the Emperor obsahuje všechny její povídky+ povídky ze Scions a Sons + 5 dalších, takže tahle kniha je v tuten moment obsolentní.
